The main mission focus of Herko Family Mission is Disciple Making
The goal is to equip disciples who will make and equip other disciples.
The Mission Statement for Herko Family Mission is “A Mission to Equip Disciple-Makers”.
The Disciple Making Ministry is an island-wide ministry for Jamaica. We are excited to help new Christians be transformed into Christ’s character and then, join in Jesus’ mission of making disciples.
Disciple Making answers the question:
“What are the next steps after a person becomes a Christian?”
The basis for the Disciple Making Ministry is taken from the “Great Commission” in Matthew 28:19-20 where Jesus commands,
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
